Intense, caramel and chocolate.
Father Lieven brown turns dark brown under a stable collar of beige foam. Aromas of nut filling, oatmeal and raisins hide in a haze of cocoa. Intense flavors of bitter chocolate and even some licorice allow the aftertaste to close the circle with cocoa.
Pater Lieven Brown is a top fermentation beer of 6.5% abv that is refermented in the bottle.
